Teri + Robert’s Engagement Session

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session for a really great couple, Teri + Robert.  The wonderful thing about being in this business is that even though we plan things out, I never really know ahead of time what then photos will look like.  In this case we set out for some shots at a cafe, and Teri had the great idea of heading to the cafe in the Zoetrope building in North Beach.  After a little espresso and some pictures, we were all energized and ready to head to the chilly Embarcadero for some shots with the skyline.  Teri + Robert kept up a great energy and were able to relax and be themselves in front of the camera.  Once the sun went down (which is ridiculously early these days) we went downtown for a last couple of shots.

I think the photos have a very cosmopolitan look, so I converted quite a few to black and white to add to that look.  Now that the photos are online for Teri + Robert to see, I get the fun task of waiting on pins and needles to hear if they are happy ;)  I hope so!
